I couldn’t think of a better name. This image, along with “Beside Quiet Waters,” was taken at my favorite kayak launching spot on Antelope Lake in Plumas County, CA. When I think of Psalm 23 and what it means for the Good Shepherd to “restore my soul,” these moments are it. A morning like this, getting ready to push off from shore into the beauty of this place… for me it is one of the most soul-restoring things I could imagine. A greater gift than I deserve.
