Cumulo-Gnarly
One of the craziest sunsets I can remember. This shot is looking east (the sun is setting behind me). In a 20 minute period while standing in this field trying to capture the scene, I photographed a rainbow, missed a shot of lightning, and took photos of clouds like this in all directions. It was too much to capture. This is a panorama of several frames stitched together. It’s a special image to me now, as quite a bit of that hillside burnt in the Sheep Fire of 2020.
