Taken from my kayak on Antelope Lake in Plumas County, California, this island is known to many who visit the lake. The morning fog adds a bit of mystery to this image, and makes the island stand out against a background that usually makes it hard to tell that it’s actually an island. A place like this just begs you to point the kayak in that direction.
