Pulling up short after a failed dash at some salmon in the water, this bear found itself a bit closer than it had planned to be to the two photographers on the other edge of the river (myself and the guide I was with). For our part, we were also a bit closer to the bear than we had planned to be. After a glance at us, the bear returned to the chase, pursuing salmon in the other direction, and re-establishing a comfortable distance away from us.
