A shot of Thompson Peak covered in snow underneath the Milky Way was on my wish list for a long time before I finally got this one. The Milky Way is only visible in the very early morning during the first part of the year when there is usually still a good coating of snow on the mountain. This was shot at around 4:00am in early March.
